S-E disagrees with you...but who to believe? You? Or the owner of this video game?

Shiftwindow does this too but I hear its not dual monitor friendly as the game will clip onto screen 2.

Translation : Yes it's against the ToS. Game Masters won't make any distinction concerning 3rd-party softwares.
3rd party software must manipulate, damage or interact in some way with the program FINAL FANTASY XIV in order to be in violation of ToS. Asking my operating system to display programs to me in a certain way IS NOT A VIOLATION OF ToS! That's like saying using 2 monitors automatically makes you in violation of ToS.
Windows is 3rd party software and so are your video drivers... you're all so banned <.<
Well seriously it wouldn't be the first time the community offered a patch for a horribly broken game and afterwards getting sued by the publisher. I hope SE isn't like that but you never know. Pretty sure SE knows about the fullscreen issue and is fully aware how angry the community is about it. So they will work on it eventually.
Ya know we kept telling them this would happen back during testing. but did they listen..
That would be awesome if I could have this also. xD Occasionally I travel and I only can play via laptop and I play windowed but at fullscreen rez. I like the idea.
The problem with FFXI Windower was that it created a window to using malicious 3rd party tools such as bots, etc. FFXIV already comes with a windowed setting unlike FFXI, which I use. So using AutoHotKey does not create the same issues that FFXI Windower did. I'm not violating the ToS by using a feature that SE implemented themselves. All I'm doing is making my windowed screen (which is perfectly legal with FFXIV ToS) give the APPEARANCE of being fullscreen.
I'm sorry that you have to be 100% wrong, but you are.
