Australia and New Zealand No Physical CE??

Still no news this morning from EB games or JB-Hifi websites the two usual points to buy most games and software.

As most may know the Australia SE store being down is not just us but the whole EU SE stores as a whole.

As of now only JP and NA Heavensward are able to be purchased normally from their respective SE store.

Was advised to wait a couple of days for their vendors to get the information and pass on so EB Games can update their systems so preorders can commence. SE just started the preorder process and it would be foolishness on their part NOT to include physical editions (both normal and CE) alongside digital. In any event, waiting a couple more days for the vendors to get the info from SE and pass on to EB Games/JB HiFi/etc isn't that much to wait. IF there isn't anything by Monday next week, THEN complain... but give the retailers time to do their job and get the info first.

I agree with you, we just need to cool our jets and wait it out of a bit. I've been talking with JB HQ and they too said the sales team is working on getting the game due too such a high demand for it.

I'm just happy that the major retailers here are aware of the game and the demand for it. :)

retailers should of had the information before players se just doesnt care about aus anyone got a link for this aus store its the first ive heard of it

Keep checking with your local EB. I've been checking their website every day for the Heavensward pre-order to pop up, I rang my local EB and he says that he assumes the codes will randomly turn up one day lol. Can talk with EB games when I pick up Type-0 HD too ^^.

has any1 tried gametraders yet?? expensive as hell but worth a try o.o

Well considering Gametraders would either source from the same vendor as EBGames and JB Hifi or grey import from the UK. The later is not going to make a difference because Physical CE in Europe will not be sold to retailers. It is Square Enix Store exclusive.

Basically, the source of the problem is the vendor in Australia/New Zealand. Not sure who they are, but it looks like they have no interest in stocking physical copies of the game. Either that or they are just being lazy.

Funny thing is... this same vendor is the one who said that there's no market for the Game Time Cards here in Australia and EB Games/JB HiFi/Dick Smith has been unable to get them since 2 months from the games release. I'm still going to wait at least til Thursday when I pick up Final Fantasy Type 0 CE (as well as two other titles), and then check if preorders are available then.

I rang ebgames today the guy said that they are just waiting on SE to give a preorder date for Australia on the Physical CE we have a high chance of getting it and to watch eb games facebook page they will post it when you can preorder it also should be able to preorder it in the next day or 2
