Silver Brocade NQ Mats into HQ?

I don't spend much time for making those either (macro crafting is boring :P), normally i spend days make only twinthread hq till i get about 200 of them then the next days i turn them all to silver brocade. You should try to gather the cocoon whenever you have chance too (it spawns only once every hour and doesn't require good gear to gather, you should be able to get 25 cocoon each time). Just gather it whenever you can and you will save load of money in the end :)

If you just want to farm MC for yourself (like me) then I think you're better not rushing, would be pretty frustrated and demotivated after awhile :|

I personally just hq the twinthread, eat a bouliajfjsjxjdjd (however its spelt)
cz > iq > steady hand II > basic touch x 5 > masters mend > stII > basic touch > standard touch > great strides > ingen II > BB > 3 x cs II

100% unless BB falls on a poor, that being said im full artisan max melds with supra will get lucis tomorrow

Sure, he could use hq silver ingot in his silver brocade recipe, but it won't raise quality by much.

What I meant, if it wasn't clear, is that it definitely is the same deal when only nq mats are used.
I use NQ horn glue and NQ spruce logs and craft HQ plywood.
It'd be exactly the same if I used NQ twinthread and NQ silver ingots. I'd still HQ the brocade since all my crafters have the same stats and the recipes have exactly the same progress and quality.

I can relate to the time crunch factor. Sometimes when I'm feeling bold I'll HQ a bunch of nuggets or hippo leather, but then craft the same amount as NQ and do a split 1/1 synth using the 11hastytouch attempt rotation.

It is faster, but there's a 1/10 chance of token not HQing. Pros and cons i suppose

i'm so sick of grinding for MCdemis. Maybe I'll start working on a lucis first if it makes the grind that much easier
