Thanks. While they're at it, I think they may have accidentally put an extra 0 on those training manuals. They're absurdly priced and aren't even the best tier of the ability.

A welcome change!
TT is also very a considerable investment, I have spent around 150k MGP trying to get any 1 of 3 cards from the Silver/Gold Triad packs and gained none yet, in terms of TT card refunds for duplicates it is something that also needs an MGP increase. But I do agree with the OP in that Chocobo Races should have an increase in MGP reward from it's current amount, I also agree with him about removing the MGP reward for DNF. The mini games like basketball, moogle catcher and others also need a MGP increase from the 1,3,5,10 type rewards to maybe 10,20,30,50 depending on the mini game. The GATEs seem to be generally okay at their current rate though a couple GATE's could be more balanced in terms of MGP reward compared to other GATEs.
Firstly it is not a "LOT" faster than Chocobo Racing, it is noticeably faster but I would not go so far as to capslock the word "LOT". Someone who takes TT seriously would be doing so for the collection just like people who take Chocobo Races seriously would raise and level their Chocobo to the best of their ability, both incur MGP costs if taking them seriously while TT has a large reliance on RNG for card packs which can potentially invalidate every single MGP you spend while Chocobo Race items do not. I enjoy both activities and Chocobo Races could do with an increase but that increase does not need to be a vast amount else the pendulum swings too far in the other direction. Lets not also forget if comparing the two in their current states, Chocobo Racing is the only one out of the two which allows someone to come last aka DNF yet still win more MGP than paid to take part while if you lost in TT you actually lose MGP.
I'm a little confused by a few things so forgive me if I am about to ask a dumb question. 1.I'm on my 3rd bird right now and currently doing r-60 matches and get more than I do from r-40 matches so could you reiterate what you mean by getting the same reward when you get into higher rank brackets. 2. What is Dnf that people keep mentioning? As to the topic at hand while I've been pretty satisfied with the mgp amount given as I make enough to at least pay for a g9 covering license I am happy to hear we will get more mgp in the future...especially since I'm terrible with saving mgp lol.
I'm in chocobo racing for the fun (and, ya know, the sexy prestige) rather than the mgp, but if greater rewards bring more people into it, I would very much welcome this!
@Snugglebutt
Uh? It is actually quite a significant difference. I can get 4.5k/hour on Indolent Imperial and only about half of that from Chocobo racing placing first 70% of the time. That is a significant difference. I would say that warrants the use of "A LOT", in caps.
I've "wasted" probably about 25k MGP on gold packs, before I stopped spending MGP on packs and redirected it toward chocobo racing.
I argue that there's even more RNG investment in Chocobo breeding than TT. In a SINGLE breeding (I am pedigree 4 now), I blew over 30k MGP in Grade 5 coverings trying to get ideal stats and hereditary skills. That's not including all the lethe water I've spent on the chocobo before it was retired. Every time a crap covering came up I lost 3.7k MGP. That's pure "invalidation" right there. I couldn't even progress past that stage till I got a good covering since you can't race with a retired chocobo and there's no real reason to keep ranking your birds past 40 in early pedigrees.
