Achievements for achievements?

Unfortunately, the idea of rewards/meta-achievements based on the total of your achievement points was brought up a while ago and was responded to by a GM with a "no plans to do this."

P.S. I am still very much in favor of a system like the one that I outlined in the linked thread, I just hope they change their minds.

I suggested this before as an 'overall' category at the bottom of the achievements catergories, like the challenge log already has.

Would be nice to reward those people who take part in all of the content of the game rather than only one kind of content. May even get more people into PvP to improve their overall score.

I always thought it'd be kinda cool if there was a luck stat. And the only way to increase it would be achievements. Luck wouldn't influence your rolls against other characters, but things like ATMA drops, alexandrite drops, zodiac drops, and gil/item drops from trash mob would be increased by a tiny margin. Like every 1000 points is 1% increase or sone thing.

Can only hope that they change their mind because as I pointed out.. people simply dont give a SH*T how many achievement points another person has.. I get excited about my achievements, and my friends just roll their eyes as they dont see the value in it
