Do EX Primals really have a better card drop rate?

I did 100 runs of Shiva HM and didn't get a card. Then I ran Shiva EX for 30 times and no card drop there...

I don't have the exact numbers of my HM attempts, but I've done EXes just for clears/weekly, so I'm roughly at...

Titan EX: 0/1
Garuda EX: 0/1
Ifrit EX: 0/1
King Moggle EX: 0/1
Leviahan EX: 0/1
Ramuh EX: 0/1

Then I did some HMs for the relics I was missing (SMN and SCH):
Titan HM: 1/2
Ifrit HM: 0/2
Garuda HM: 0/2

and some MSQ
Leviathan HM: 1/2
Ramuh HM: 0/1

Last but not least, I farmed King Moggle HM specifically for the card and, as I said, it took me 3 days or so. I esteem somewhere around 30-50 attempts.

Also as a side note, got Ultima Weapon's card 1/1 on Ultimate Ballade. Gilgamesh & Enkidu took me 3-4 tries or less.

I also heard that the lower level dungeon drops (Demon Wall, Sahagin etc) have more chance of dropping their respective cards. No idea if true though

Tomberry: (lv50, Wanderer's Palace) 1/8+ attempts
Siren: (lv50, Pharos Sirius) 1/20+ attempts
Demon Wall: (lv50, Amdapor Keep) 1/5+ attempts

Sahagin: (lv15 Sastasha) 1/1
Ahriman: (lv44 Dzmael Darkhold) 1/1

I have never got a card from a hm primal, Ive got 2 cards from ex primals. I ran the ex primals 15 times in total. I've run 100+ hm primals and never heard of a card drop.
Are you sure hm primals even drop cards? I've never heard anyone get a hm primal card

Definitely sure they drop cards, my luck has been pretty bad on both hm and ex though. It seems like mixed reviews in here so far, some people seem to get more drops from HM and some get more from EX. So far there hasn't really been anything definitive, I'd say most of the testimonies were taken from memory rather than actually recorded data.

Not sure, i already have the titan and ifrit card but ive killed garuda on hm and extreme about a bazillion times each and have yet to see it

I doubt it. If there is, its probably not much of a difference. For example, 1% for HM and 3% for EX. I've done about 20 Shiva's and 12 Leviathan's and I've yet to see them drop a single card. However, I've heard people get a card in a few tries of an EX primal so... -shrug- RNG is RNG.

A friend farmed Shiva EX with his FC yesterday after 30 mins he complained to get the card every run :o
Another friend got Garuda card at a single EX run we did...
I myself only get in Dungeons :/
Dezma, AK, Pharos, Sasti HM were lucky for me so far (While "grinding" for relic items and AK was even lucky enough card + drop ^^)
