Punch the Cuff-A-Cur mannequin 5 times then requeue.
Watch a movie or some show while farming dungeons and lights. Helps a lot.
A good social LS that makes you happy helps a lot also. So when you dont get drop they can laugh at you and you feel better :)
watch tv, do a drinking game out of it, put some music. If that doesn't work like every 3-5 dungeons take a break.
sacrifice a lalafell to rngesus
Best thing I can recommend if it feels like you're doing one dungeon in particular a lot, go to another for a bit. I like order, so part of me likes to do one thing at a time before moving on. But if it's going to be the trouble dungeon, it's better to know it'll be last than be in the middle of your grindfest and burn out.
There are some horrifying dungeon atma drop claims, so I'd avoid reading them and hope for the best. And like others have said, stream YouTube, netflix, etc.
Convince yourself you are running the dungeons for more reasons than the zodiac. When they changed the desynthing rules in 2.5, I decided to level up armorer desynth. Running as tank, I started farming the ilevel 55 places, then ilevel 60, then 70 and so on. Those armorer pieces kept flowing in, and I got my desynth up to about 80ish. Also, leatherworking desynth net me a bunch of materials to sell on marketboards, while anything I couldn't desynth got dumped into GC for moonstones.
Now with triple triad cards, you'll have a good chance of farming demon wall, siren, tonberry, succubus, sahagin, morbol and ahriman. Duplicate cards bring in some MGP too. So many good things in dungeons these days.
It helps if you have a dual or even triple purpose to running them. I'm working on mahatmas for my bow, while trying to get the drops for my nirvana - before that I was farming light for the thyrus nexus while trying to get the drops for my bow. At the same time get some friends that have the same goals. It makes it much more fun to do so. Me and a couple of friends tend to queue up for 5 dungeons we need - even if not all of us need all of them. We split them around so that each has a chance at getting what they want, along with any in common. Once we run it(doesn't matter if drop or not) we swap that one out for another and requeue.
And when we get fed up we do maps, choco race, wod/ct/st etc... to break the monotomy.
I've given up with Dzemael for the time being, ran it about 20 times so far with no luck, so it's probably going to be the one I save for very last. For all the others, quene into all of the ones you currently need to do at the same time. Always have all four of the quests up if you can, and Join in Progress and try and quene for each of them. If you get lucky on a drop for one of them, put another dungeon in in it's place in the DF. In-between runs, if healing is getting you worn out, change to a Tank, or change to DPS, if it's the right time of day. I was doing Triple Triad the other night while waiting on my quenes, you have to be keeping busy while waiting, never just sit there and stare at the game searching for people.
Netflix and youtube and Hulu and the like also help a lot as well.
