Your problem does sound frustrating, and I am sure nobody wants to be ganged up on, but in most sports it is a legitimate strategy to try to neutralize the best players on the opposing team! And as others have pointed out, simply griefing people for non-strategic reasons decreases your chances of winning the match. I think your "friends" should stop singling you out unless they really need to do so for strategic reasons, in which case it's proof of your awesomeness!!
I actually wish that you could see the other teams' names and shouts, at least if you wanted to!!
Fan festival frontline was particularly awesome because all the players were lined up in 9 rows of 8 PCs/PS4s and you could hear/see the other teams as well as your own teammates. It was cool to watch as well, though I wish there had been big screens and commentary like the LoL regionals.
It would be cool if we could watch frontline matches between the top teams.
