I don't even think they need a ton of explanation at this point. Honestly though I just want that cool outfit.

I'm not sure they need to build a car. For one there is no paved roads in this game world.

Probably not gonna happend unless. When it comes to cross promotion then most people will get Type 0 because it'll come with a FF15 demo.

Kinda like how MGS came as a demo for Z.O.E. and partially due to that it became "hit" and eventually had a sequel.

Z.O.E 1 was awesome , but Z.O.E 2 is a masterpiece , still waiting on 3th :( but guess is not gonna happen T.T

But they will most likely bring it back a few times. Remember all the WTF SE staphhhh threads when they kept bringing back lightning into the game? Lol

I'd love to see new special events come around, but honestly I was so disappointed over the way people acted out over Lightning. Both sides, not just the "OMG Stop bringing it back!!" crowd. From what I recall, the QQ was coming from every direction on that one, and just remembering that makes me wonder if SE will ever bother doing exclusive timed events again. :(

If they ever were to though, I'd be so excited that it wouldn't matter what they chose to do a crossover of. xD

Why does everyone think that since there were cross-over events with previous Final Fantasy Titles that they are inclined to add more?

Yoshi-P said the crossover event for FFXIII was a special case that was a collaboration between the two directors.

The FFXI/Dragon Quest X crossovers were an anniversary thing celebrating FFXIV, FFXI, and Dragon Quest X; their three main money making MMO's.

Granted there will be costume, mount, and hairstyle crossovers as seen with the two new hairstyles introduced; but they will not have any direct story/quest related flavor to them.

People need to understand the FFXIII crossover event was a special instance to promote FFXIII Lightning Returns and there likely will not be another like it in the near future.

I believe also that Yoshi-P stated that if there is to be a future crossover that it will need to be somewhat lore abiding and not break the lore so much that it ruins the game play for other players.

FFXV adding anything into FFXIV with cars and such is absolutely ridiculous and I hope it never gets implemented. We have Airships as seen in a previous image of a Garlean Fleet and magiteck robots; which the latter has been in the game since 1.0 because it's lore appropriate to the Garleans.

Please stop asking for crossover events whenever there is a new Square-Enix title announced..

They probably learned from Lightning event NOT to award haircuts, costumes and even weapons as special events. These are things people WANT; especially new haircuts, so it's understandable people (new) want lightning to return.
