Suggestion: unlimit the cross class system.

WAR would still be limited to pug and gla cross but instead of picking 5 of the skills you've unlocked, you'd just get all of them, as in internal release, mantra, second wind, haymaker, featherfoot, savage blade ,flash, convalesence, provoke and awareness.

As for on MRD you can already do this.

I mean, I'd love it personally lol. Black mage opening with Raging strikes, Internal release and Blood for Blood would like, it'd be godly. 4500k Flare crits for days...

The reason why you can't use all of them is specifically because your Job abilities take up those slots when you have your Job crystal equipped - thus leaving you with only five cross class slots to use. So you either have ten cross class abilities available at level 50 for just the base class, or five cross class abilities and five Job abilities at level 50 with the Job crystal. It's a trade off for using a Job.

The trade off would still exist just much broader. Classes would have access to all the cross class skills at once. Jobs would have access to all the cross class skills from their 2 cross classes.

the only issue I would think would come from this is that not every job has the same number of cross class skills available to them(thm only gives 3, lnc only 4, and 2 of archers skills can only be used by physical classes but no physical job can cross class with it), and some are completely worthless to other jobs to begin with(raise on scholar, ruin on whm and blm, and skull sunder/savage blade on pld/war being examples)

The biggest problem is that this is a hugely unnessescary buff for all the classes. Ninjas would get a huge buff via both Hawk's Eye AND Raging Strikes. Every melee would get access to Raging Strikes and Mercy Stroke. Mages would get access to Blood for Blood and Internal Release. PLDs and MRDs would get Keen Flurry...

Total madness.

Flare is a job skill and the only classes BLM can cross class are bard and arcanist, that wouldn't be possible.

As a crafter, I would definitely be in favor of this. It's a pain in the butt having to swap skills around constantly depending on whether I'm 0/1/2 star or 3/4 star crafting.

I've blown up so much gil by forgetting to swap skills around before starting a craft and it's making me crazy!
