I've died a few times getting knocked into it, so it does happen :P

I think the only issue this brings is if you're targered for prey
I've cleared T10 many times as my raid's DRG. I've never had the issues you're describing. I do, however, understand what you're getting at, and I think I might have a few suggestions for you.
1) Keep at your maximum melee range. Yes, the boss's puddle is obnoxiously large, but you can still reach it without landing in it. I've used all 3 of our jumps and never had an issue.
2) If your tank isn't able to make any changes, try and make them yourself. Find a different angle from which to attack. Look for a side in which the puddle isn't as deep.
I've used my jumps to get out of the outer ring AoE, and to move from add group to add group. Otherwise, I'm just using my normal OGCD Jump. I hope these help, and good luck!
Honestly I usually just wait for the pool to go away, never been a problem. Yea I'll probably jump a couple of times less total in the fight than I would have otherwise, not really that big a deal.
1) This doesnt help me at all since I never am just standing in the puddle. The only time I enter is while jumping, which will happen regardless of how far away I am (jump always takes you to the exact edge of the bosses target reticle.
2) This could be done, but space around the boss in T10 is usually pretty precious due to us having 2 melee DPS. If i swap sides, I would have to coordinate it with our MNK. This is definitely doable though. I will have to give it a try.
We've been dealing with this since FCOB first hit. You will sometimes take the tick during jump but your healers should be able to handle this, just dont use it while heat lightning or other damage is on the way out.
Yes, you can time jumps inbetween the tics, as stated above they are not always in sync with other tics. (And even if you get hit bb+ls+ft recovers about 1k hp by itself so it is water under the bridge)
As far as the tether concerns, if tou stand right on the target you get pushed a seemingly random direction, if you stand close enough to get hit but not on them you can control the direction you get pushed. I generally line up on a diagonal and it will push me back to flank position without any further correction needed.
Ok fair enough. Personally never had this issue but guess your doing something that would warrant it? Also..
this basically sums up my experience as well. If you take a tick, its not a problem just pop Second Wind and/or Bloodbath, and don't stack right on top of the Cyclone target. I always get blasted back in the direction I came from (the 10 o'clock position) when I run in for tether. Maybe try adjusting your position on this? I really think your putting to much stock into something you cannot control; the global dot tick.
