absolutely 100% confirmed as no one has ever, ever received them from quick ventures.

It is a good idea op.
Not only should this be possible but all gear should be dyeable...period.

I totally agree. I'm sitting on so much dye right now because my retainer brings it back all the time. But almost nothing I wear is dyeable, so I haven't used much of it. I offered up dye services to my FC but having to trade the items is a hassle.

I'm sorry, I misread the topic.
As for the idea, I like it. Added security for a fairly standard service without sacrificing anything in return. I can't think of a downside to the player.

I think it is a good idea.
As others have stated, it creates an easier and safer way for rare dyes to be traded or gifted between players. It would also open up the potential for players to use rare dyes on another player's binded gear.

yeah i think it would be a really nice addition to the game. since a lot of people are already doing it. just seems like it would stream line everything if they just added the option.

Okay, staying on topic, I feel this should be implemented for 2 reasons.

1) Making it possible for someone to dye your untradeable gear
2) Preventing theft of items that would happen when one would normally trade gear to be dyed

My retainers also full on those (mostly useless) untradable dyes... I actually dont mind if our "Interiour designer" puts some piece of furniture in front of me and asks me to dye for him. But really whats at all the point in the dyes not being tradeable?
