Please impliment solo low level dungeon and NPC team mates quickly!!

I would not want to do a dungeon with NPCs. Maybe something with 2 players and 2 chocobos (which I believe they are already doing something to that effect), but not NPCs.

I am however, interested in a similar version to this idea:

Solo game for almost all content? Sure, if all you do is Duty Roulette and Hunts which you seem to be doing.

Because you got kicked for being AFK, which is a viable reason to be kicked from a duty - it happens to most people who go AFK for whatever reason, snowflake. Also I highly doubt it's a suggestion, you just seem to be demanding solo content.

FF11 already allow you to do dungeon with npc. Why not FF14 ?
I don't care that much. I do 1 dungeon per week maybe 2 with fc members and I'm cap.

Edit: Of course I think that sad we can't properly play the game with real players who communicate but yeah ...

I think this would be fine since it would be mostly for low level content, It would allow DPS to do dungeons and not have to wait a millennium helping them level faster. I'm pretty sure if they had the AI of the chocobo the NPCS would not survive in higher level content when moving becomes a necessity.

They could implement Adventuring Fellows like we had in FFXI (and FFXIV 1.0 had something along the lines of it as well, forget what it's called because I never made it that far in 1.0). Or even Trusts like they added in FFXI after like a decade (NPC buddies from the game, could go around with Shantotto, Curilla, Zeid, Lion, Ayame, and Nanaa Mihgo, among many others as party members).

It would be pretty cool if we could go adventuring with our retainers, seeing as how their max level corresponds to ours (if you have a level 5 rogue, the retainer can't get past level 5 on that class to my understanding).

However, being able to do dungeons with a similarly leveled (and possibly well geared) NPC could negate the need to do dungeons with other people entirely, causing a dramatic shift in how players decide to tackle a duty.

Think about it, it could potentially break the game in a way (make it so people never have to play with each other). I mean for example if I could go into content with my i100+ Conjurer and i94+ Archer retainers, and let's add my Chocobo to make it a 4 man party-- I would have no need to use the Duty Finder or Party Finder to get through low level content (prior to Brayflox at least, that's the first one where you actually need a good tank and healer). For Sastasha-Haukke, it's a cakewalk for anyone with decent gear synced down do those levels.

I do hope they implement NPC buddies that are smarter than our Chocobos though. I like the idea, and I would love to have more uses for my retainers (going off of what I wrote), but I know there are problems with implementing it.

Don't think OP should have been kicked for being afk if he/she stated she was going to be gone for a minute to answer the door. I usually give people afk a timer if they aren't back by the next boss, then you boot them.

Also this idea isn't half bad, but I don't think this will happen just because this game was meant to be built on some kind of community even though its lacking greatly in DF.

Oh, that would be fantastic!

Not to "break" the game, it would be sufficient to reserve the solo dungeons for fun runs with mostly cosmetic and fun rewards.

Are you from North Korea? Because you are apparently ok getting the maximum penalty for a minimum cause. If you show up for work tomorrow late for 5 mins, do you think it's appropriate to put you to the gas chamber? I don't even DARE asking you what you'd do in this situation, probably turn your rear and asked to be rammed harder.

Already in the works, I'm just hoping its coming sooner rather than later.

I think it would be cool if they allowed you to solo start dungeons with npcs and then dismiss the npcs as players join and fill their spots.

Something like that would be nice.
