Yoshida also said for race change service it's up to players voice so will be waiting for more suggestions, ideas!

I don't know if we'll get the chance to change, but a one time switch would be nice.

Even with the addition of new races aside from the male Miqo'te and female Roegadyn, it doesn't necessarily mean the new races introduced after them will be playable. I wouldn't mind if they were simply NPCs, if for the sake of lore and whatnot.

Correct. It was never stated whether or not they would be playable. :3
I don't mind either way. I would like to be able to see them as well.

I would hope the devs know that introducing a cool new race to XIV, but it not being playable, would kinda be a slap in the face lol... I mean they could have easily done it with Male Mithra in XI, but they didn't. Therefore I find it hard to believe they would here.
