I knew it was a joke on the part of the translators.

Now I hope it becomes the official name thanks to this thread.

My complaint is legitimate. They did not say they were joking, and the letter alludes to the fact that this may very well be the name.

Because it was decided among the players and devs that "Materia" was a suitable name not because they said "Fuck it, keep the name wrap it up for 1.19!"

I personaly lol'd at the "My Little Chocobo" name especially me being a lalafell and our chocobos seem to fit the name well. :P

I never said that I think the name has already been chosen. I apologize if that's what you thought. I am simply begging the devs to go with something else. Something more appropriate.

I think its a suitable name especially if we get personal mounts or/and have to raise chocobos!

Who cares what they call it, we're finally getting chocobos.

It would be awesome if we could put a crest on their flank.
