Relic Quest is pure Crap, i am done with it SE.

Aurum vale is pretty fast if you use speed run strategy like tank pull whole first room -> everybody else run into boss room -> tank die - > healer ress tank - > kill the boss etc

You can get a proper Novus and not use a single Grade IV materia. If you can't even afford that, well, lol.

I get all my materias from market board and take under 2m gil and those are gonna be cheaper all of the time. Sooner or later it will be under 1m gil probably.

If you refuse to do aurum vale because you've done it do many times, than don't do it and don't get your relic. Am I a super genius?? Did I honestly figure that out for you? :O

Preferably a pre-made with your FC or something. Tried with pugs, some are just plain derps.

How did you get the crafting items?
Dungeon farming was never the problem with the Zodiac Questline, even they still miss to add a failsafe system (some players with 20+ tries of the same dungeon while others get it with their 1st try)
I dont know the pricing on your server, here it is about 200k to 400k gil (depending if you are lucky to catch the 200k). you will need 8 of them, that makes it in total about 3M and thats close to housing!

Craft the crafting items? They are easy 3 stars, and easy money if you decided to craft some to sell. If you don't have the DoH class, you could enlist the help of your FC mates.

Did you do it? I doubt so because alone the desynth requires you to have ALL DoH at a level where you can desynth them... and not all of the items you need are cheap either...

I just love how people have rose tinted glasses when it comes to Xi. That was a grind on a whole different level. It took people years to acquire the necessary items to create one relic with the help of a huge amount of people and you are complaining about the grind needed for this? Get out go back to Xi for a few days and really remember what it was like, and make sure you take your glasses off.

what a troll!

if i want to do it its easy but, i may need to do it 20 times to get the drop, and i got better things todo rather than aurom vale, things that can be fun todo.

will i ever do it one day? maybe if they change the later part of quests to something other than old dungengs/fate/instace, then it will be worth it if this is the end of the low level grind. otherwise i am done with this.
