This doesn't make sense either. So the guests can attend?

You hand out invitations to people and the couple says "Hey everyone, we are going to start the wedding. Please start making your way over to Sanctum of the Twelve."

The 2 hour segment really has nothing to do with scheduling the time for guests to attend.

If guests couldn't attend they could have just shown a cutscene and then the couple would just appear outside the door of chapel similar to what would happen for a quest. However since guests can attend the whole duration of the wedding a time slot has to be booked for each individual couple so their particular guests can come to their ceremony.

People wanted SE to use instancing less, so SE implemented Eternal Bond without any instancing at all. Once again the moral of the story is be careful what you wish for.

Why dont they start doing this with every bit of content then. Let's see how frustrating the game is when only 1 party in the entire server can be in a coil..

Welcome to the stress of waking up at an unholy hour and hoping that you will get something that you like only to have it whisked away from you that people who want a personal or FC house have experienced since personal housing was released.

At least you get to try again next week. People who want housing have to wait for an undefined amount of time to be let down again.

SE needs to stop this first-come first-served crap.

You have what happened in the beta, with that one instanced MSQ fight. People lined up and waited their turn on the server I was on, and someone even made an LS and invited everyone waiting to it.

The system seems fine to me. There are irrc 84 slots a week? The first week it's going to be filled to the brim the first day it's out. It's new content. Give it a couple weeks and it wont be as difficult. Give it a few months and it'll probably die down a lot, if not almost completely.

On a side note, I got the exact day and time I wanted for my platinum marriage. :D

I came home today, was looking forward to place a reservation for the ceremony. Already knew they might not be any more good times aviable. But no.. there are absolute NO times aviable, till next friday i guess. Thank you SE for the load of bs you did again (note: stay away from your sarcasm detector, it might explode)

It's the first week. As much as you were happy about the implementation of said feature, so are a whole slew of others too. Which means, you get what happens here.

You struck out on your first week. Let me repeat this: You struck out. On your. FIRST. Week.

The feature isn't going anywhere and neither yourself or your girlfriend should be upset about this. It happens. Try again next week.

And before you retort, know that my wife and myself are planning on doing the same thing as you did: buy platinum, get up at 4 and reserve a date

But you know what we discussed? Just how crazy this feature will be at the start and how it's the holidays anyway so there was no point in getting this done right away when our online friends couldn't attend the ceremony. So we did the smart thing: planned ahead and will try either in January or February.

Just plan ahead, and don't worry so much about it.
