That's something that confuses me. Why are so many people anti-cash shop, yet they don't bat an eyelash at a $50 Blu-Ray audio soundtrack that grants a minion?

I mean, if that's the direction SE decided to go if their cash shop did not live up to expectations, that's all fine and dandy. There just seems to be a double-standard there.

As for the topic, I would like to see all of the old, no longer obtainable cross-promotional event gear for sale on the cash shop.

-The XIIIth Shard: Unlocks the Snow/Lightning hairstyles from the Aesthetician and the Bohemian/Guardian Corps set for purchase from the Calamity Salvager.
-Wind-up Shantotto: Sends the Wind-Up Shantotto minion via mail.
-The Slimy Brick Special: Sends the Wind-Up Brickman minion and King Slime hat via mail.

Other things I would like to see once 2.5 rolls around: Airship Schematics from previous Final Fantasy installments. Just the blueprints that have to be crafted, not the mats to craft them with.

The thing is, I hope they don't just put them in the cash shop. Why not make an event first like "lightning returns". Make them obtainable from the event. Then, for those that missed the event, add the items to the cash shop after.

I don't mind the cash shop but I hope that it won't reduce the number of fun/random events in the future. Imagine if they had put the shantotto minion or the lightning event items in the cash shop without there being an event first.

Seems most people can't help giving their opinion in a thread that starts off with asking not to give an opinion on cash shop.

Anyway, I'd like to see more real versus virtual items. I want a Titan plush. Maybe more t-shirts and hoodies.

Can I buy the abillity to get all of this content in the game on a monthly subscription basis?

To be honest the cash shop would be great if they used it for physical goods only (with no digital items attatched.) I'd pay for a 3d model to be made of my character with whatever equipment he had on. Now that's how you make a killing from the cash shop.

As awesome of an idea as that is and yes I would probably buy one, you usually don't make a killing off of a niche item like that. I think they sell what they sell because it's cheap profit. The cash shop feels like an afterthought, which it should be.

I guess I would like to see the cash shop take the direction indicated in this post:

Premium sub, all items available within the game. Does it count on topic if it is a suggestion to have the cash shop tell the cash shop to get rekt'd? :P

Entirely unnecessary and easily forged but it could at least be somewhat pleasing to know what % SE was reinvesting and where (cash shop investing back into the cash shop, anti-fabulous), sort of a kick starter but instead a marathon keeper?

For new veteran bonuses allow tokens that have value in the cash shop?

I'm less annoyed with timed exclusive content that appeared in game first then in the shop, i'd hope to see few and far between exclusive items in the shop itself. So get on that Chrono trigger event in game, then sell it on the cash shop later. Kthx :P

Not that I want to see the cash shop flourish, just maybe some lesser evils (annoyances, w.e, 'opinions yo').

That would be pretty neat~

Depending on the quality you could have some affordable miniatures and then say hand painted from screen shot pretty and hefty penny*. I wonder why other MMOs haven't done this, and if they have why did they fail (or I never heard of it) - I assume 3d printing technology has to be somewhat of a source of relevance here. *Decent sized high quality models that I know of are pretty expensive.

I wouldn't mind it if they just made random stuff that wasn't related to any specific feature. Morbol mount, Chibi Primal Minions, maybe even some armor based on Amano designs. What I was thinking though is maybe SE should just drop the veterans rewards and just give token insteads. That way they can add what ever mount, minions, and gear they want but all players get a equal chance to get said gear.

This would be killer. We know SE already has the ability to do this and people would pay big for quality merchandise.

I made a thread suggesting adding in Music packs via Cash Shop.

So folks can change the Battle & Mounted BGMs, add music to Fishing & Crafting all from previous FF titles.
using remixed & remastered.

I would love to have cash shop glamour sets. Like weapons, armors, & etc.
(Noel's sword, Squall's Gunblade, Cain's Lance)

Maybe have armorsets from previous FFs in it.
We have FFI and FFIII sets but they are locked via raid content. So folks don't raid.

Hairstyles, and etc would be cool.
(Cloud's Hair, Caius Ballad's Hair, Vincent's hair (since headbands count as hair it seems...)

I would not be against more dyes either. But they need to be non-consumable.
Chocobo armors would be good too.

So many folks seemed to resent those events that I doubt this would be the case.
Its more cost effective to just roll out to a Cash Shop than to have to develop a event, brainstorm a storyline so it fits with Lore.
The backlash off the FFXIII was terrible. The vocal minority ruined events like that for future generations.

I would love more events but I do not see it happening. =/
