Hey! I'm new to FFXIV & on PS4, a whole new experience coming from MMOs on a PC! I haven't quite figured out how communication works in-game with cross platform play. It seems pretty quiet in game, & I'm not used to chat being so quiet. I'm not in a FC yet, so I'm on the look for a newbie-friendly FC. And from reading this thread it seems I need to get Mumble & maybe run it on my laptop while I play? Whenever I've been in an instance (via duty finder) I've found no one really talks much. Maybe I'm just missing something.

Just looking for a place to call home so that this MMORPG doesn't feel like a single player game! Currently leveling an archer as my main to go bard, & then conjurer at some point for white mage. I've just joined the Maelstorm GC. It doesn't HAVE to be a ps4 guild, though I imagine that would be easier when doing instances. When I'm running about questing I just use my wireless usb keyboard to chat.
