Yea for some reason my 2 DoW Retainers bring me Fish, while my Miner and Botanist were bringing me primal weapons and darklight gear... I changed one of my DoW to Fisher and just got her to 50 last night in hopes of a Fat Cat, fingers crossed, but I get the feeling i will get more fish.
Well, kinda a bump but, outside of the 800 fish my Retainer has brought back to me in the last few quick ventures (srsly is this shit broken?), today they brought me back something different! and they got 200k Exp!

My fighter retainer gave me non-grilled fish and grilled fish. Are they secretly leveling fishing and culinarian...?
My Miner brought me back Infantry Gloves... and my Level 50 ACN still brings me Fish and crap furniture lol.
However, on a Highland Exploration that got my retainer ~49, she brought me a Gyashl Ring... so thats nice.
I've gotten SO MUCH coeurl meat and fur from my retainers that I think coeurls are now an endangered species. Then again there's the occassional primal HM weapon they give >.>

My retainers are still robbing people's personal and FC houses along with randomly bringing back fish, extremely rarely (like once a month or more) they'll bring back something different. I have a Miner, Botanist, Fisher and an Archer, sadly, my Miner and Botanist bring back fish, my Fisher brings back primal weapons and my Archer keeps bringing back housing parts (roofs, doors, windows, walls) and random furniture, but mostly roofs and doors.....

Your retainer was out trying to defeat a monster, but realized the task at hand was too great. However, his eyes caught a glimpse of the beast's lunch. Surely if a beast so powerful felt such a fish could serve as lunch, it might be of use for other creatures as well.
