Why are fighting Retainers bringing back fish?

I could understand if it was something that dropped from a monster or a dungeon, but why is my i90 THM suddenly unequipping all his gear and switching to FSH?
I understand wanting to give us "trash" items but can we atleast make this make sense?
Only FSH retainers should be bringing back fish.

I always thought the same thing... my NPC has brought me back so many different fish its... well it is a Miqo so...

Yeah! Fishers should get fish, botanists should get plants, miners should get ore, and fighters should get materials that drop from enemies, like leather and meat.

This last patch completely screwed up chances at getting rare items, or anything non fish for that matter. My retainers are i80, and I don't get anything worth more than 6 Gil now...

I think it's just a troll from the devlopment team, they put fished everywhere to troll us.
I dont see any other good explaination of this.

8/10 I'm getting fish or near worthless housing items, so basically my i106 LNC retainer is just running around thieving from peoples houses and stealing from Fishers... at his ilvl he should be clearing the entire first coil in the hour he's given... but no I just get crap.

Quick Explorations are more a game of chance... but venture tokens are not to be wasted... so let your retainers farm something of your choosing?!
