Tonberry Lag Spikes since last patch

And so it begins again today. Why? :'(

I didn't see this thread. Looks like others have begun the complaints and asked Square to look into ISP's throttling FFXIV: ARR. Be sure to post your issues/information in this thread too, to help.

I really don't think it's throttling lol because it completely disappeared for me and everyone else i know after the latest patch..

Earlier in this thread, Lemage, you mentioned that you were from Australia. The routing is probably different than from my location in SE United States. The thread I linked in my post above specifically calls out a routing issue that passes through Canada. In the thread, they also mention throttling as the cause of the lag during "busy times", particularly with Verizon customers here in the States, which I happen to be. My intent is to hopefully direct others who come across this thread and have similar issues as I do to check out the other thread for hope on this situation.

Final note, "everyone else you know" is a small sample size in comparison to the number of people who are experiencing this issue. There's over 200 posts in the thread I linked alone, plus various other posts that have not found that thread yet. I just hope the issue is resolved for everyone in the very near future. Lag can be extremely frustrating, as it is for me yet again right now since I can't play because of it... X) Glad your issues have been fixed though. Congrats! ^^
