Just a rant from someone actually playing

my idea was just a pipe dream but least it was a detailed suggestion. All i got was "i disagree with this idea" "1/2 the stuff is in game" "huge zones suck"

No one presented ideas they just debated on if my idea was good or not. Sorry needless debated are pointless.

oh and some trin is stalking me every time I say silly pills, its just a joke and a bit less rude then saying stupid pills.

These forums are better than the favoritism and idealism that occurred in the fan forums. . .

But I agree, personally after the 1.16 patch it should be known by know nothing will ever be good enough to the player base. I saw some side quests on youtube and I see no need for CS. Just not enough there to do one. I've seen the aggro icon and I personally don't think its bad. Not all mobs that aggro look fierce. In ffxi bunnies/rats aggro'ed and linked, bats also. Oh and gaint cattapillars. Sorry but those don't scream "ima agro you" so an icon does help with the less obviouse ones. It is more for newbies anyway. As in no one helps. I did a topic like this last night. I made a suggestion for market wards to be less messy. So when i can play ( ps3 launch or pc fix) I won't feel over whelmed when using them.

Potential players though who follow this game to a fault should have as much say as we are the target of SE in the long run.

So basically because you or others like to know what agro from the first encounter, i should have to deal with a ugly red dot that have no porpouse (to me ) on my screen.like i said before , toggle option.
And no we arent players vs potential players.Some people around here do troll, and some people here do not see anythin wrong with the current state of the game.

I agree with the OP, but I feel it necessary to state that it was inevitable that these forums would initially be nothing but complaints and suggestions. While that is not encouraging for many people who may read it, it does show promise that SE will implement some of the ideas and suggestions.

Although to be honest, if these forums aren't any different in two to three months, I will have by then lost hope. I can only wish that SE works on fixing major issues first.

yes because mmo communities no longer help newbies. So a ga,e has to do it for you. All the icon says is I aggro, Not how. In ffxi mobs that checked "increadible tought" aggro 99% of the time. So you still knew what aggro just not how. Maybe play other mmo and see how "helpful" ppl are in them. My last day playing a guy got stuck in jeuno and nearly quit. No one would help him out and he should for 30 min. I was a low lvl character or I woulda helped him out. I did do my best to explain aggro. He didn't get it. This game was meant to be less time consuming.

also player/potential player isn'r player vs potential player.
we are all players or petential players.

At least you guys can play the game. I bought it and I can't. Now I got to wait for ps3 launch that may not happen for a long time, because no one will ever be happy with this game. Nothing will ever be good enough for you guysa and its getting on my nerves.

People are helpfull. You just havent found a good group yet.becouse MMOs are after all (and especially ffxi-xiv) about joining a group that you have fun with and help each other.
If you were in my server i would tell you to join up so i can show you how wrong you are about people not helping newbies.I walked all my linkshell(almost) to their first jeuno trip back in 2005=).A lot of people up to this day enjoy helping others.

I think you got it wrong,the red dot is super eye catching and super ugly. Thats about it . I wouldnt care less if noobs have hand held or not.I dont need it so i whant an option to hide it. Its that to much to ask. Now really.

People have standards. What gets on my nerves is people who think the game was heading in the right direction before the dev team change which is very clearly not the case. I'm sorry, I wanted the game to be good enough, I tried to convince myself that the systems in place were new and refreshing, but the that just isn't the truth. It's just a bunch of bad ideas thrown together and only a few extremely vocal players are trying to justify it with the potential line.
