are WHMs hard to come by?

On my data center, it seems like there are more WHMs. Whenever I do a ST run - I always pay attention to the raid comp and giggle to myself if we have like 7 Bards on the raid (not a single Foe Requiem was seen on that day) and such things, in addition to looking at the healer job distribution. More than often I've been having runs with 4-6 WHMs, rather than having a 3-3 setup or more SCHs. This happens quite often and I don't just run the instance once a week (bored, done with raids and helping others get their weekly item).

Now, as far as the actual server-side situation is concerned: I haven't seen a huge need for either healer more than the other. Dunno.

I read that The best SCH does better job than the best WHM when healing the best group.
So why this group like a zenith whm more than a novus sch? ^^;

With 9 jobs, you're looking at ~11% average per job, and you're complaining that SCH is the lowest at 9%?

Dat math. I'm not seeing the problem here. Someone has to be last.

It's amazing how when people observe there's a lack of Scholar, the reason given is as follows:
"Scholars are harder to play than WHMs, thus we have less Scholars"

On the other hand, in a topic such as this observing there's a lack of WHM, the reason is as follows:
"Scholars have more things to do/more buttons to press/more utility skills to use/more of everything except raid healing compared to WHM (AKA harder to play), and not as boring as WHM, thus more people play Scholars"

My question was refer to OP's question, "are WHMs hard to come by?"
It involves a discussion about whm/sch here previsouly,
in short, if the party know what to do, a SCH usually can do more than a whm.
In other words, we can predict a whm may do better for a not very experienced party as there may be more oh-shit moments.

Hope you can sharing your idea for this, I will read it and THINK about it with no bias ^^;

Sadly, that's pretty much the mindset of majority of the player base about the healer roles. For the majority, healing is nothing more than filling HP bars and aren't very likely to go the extra mile as a healer.

I like having a pet/fairy...it keeps me out of jail...
