I'm pretty sure it will just have the two stats but each job really uses only one in damage calculations. They can live together.
No, all MNK gear will now have Dexterity on it, this will be in addition to Strength. Just like pre-50 DoM gear.
I do wonder what this is going to mean for accessories.
If they do decide to add dex equal the same amount of str that is on the gear that mean monk gets extra parry rate no? Good thing no? I mean not like monks need to tank anyway so is a useless stat so meaning they just lazy to add more gear for ninja but using old gear instead I mean I am ok with that actually I mean you don't really want extra set of gear just for ninja or else there will be too many job gear drop that no body needs in coil
they need to clarify now what they means, because yes, the armor will give str+dex, if the ninja is dex based... still any add of str will increase my melee damage since it how it work.
It means that NIN will use the Aiming line of accessories.
As for Parry, the Dex-Parry conversion rate is really low. So don't see it being much of an issue.
Strength won't increase your melee damage as NIN, since SE will set the NIN Attack Power equation to ignore STR during calculation.
