Yep, and this is the major problem they have yet to address. It's unbelievable to me that they're unable to fill ranks while waiting for the gate to open. The deeper we go into this game, the more bandaids are being applied to a fundamentally flawed game design.

Maelstorm usually have half teams at the beginning of most matches, we counter-act by changing strats but its not fair really,

ive had matches with 4 players each alliance and we're expected to fight against 8 people? please. its a bit far fetched at most. If anything the game should allow in game joining prior to the warm-up ending which it currently doesn't do.

my girlfriend can be in FL on the 2 min warmup timer and then bam, the second the gate opens is when i can rejoin by queueing, but i can't do this beforehand. only after the gate opens.

if anything it should just add another minute or so to the timer with an announcement, and then afterwards just call it fair ball and let us battle it out.

This happened to me yesterday. I queued for FL on primal data center with the Immortal Flames. I was really worried because teams A and B had 7 people, and team C had 4...

But, as it turns out, both the Failstrom and the Twin Badders were equally undermanned, and we went on to win easily.
