I don't see why this can't happen for ff14 too. i just mean being able to play ffxiv on shinra technologies to improve performance. not integrating the technology into the game.
Exactly. The tech to do this might already be there, but the infrastructure is not. Many parts of the world, the US included, do not have a well developed internet infrastructure, especially when you compare them to say Japan or South Korea. The US actually is the 14th fastest, or slowest, depending on how you want to perceive it.
