Improvements to the Action Bar and Unit Frames ?

Because the graphics and UI artists are the same as environmental and character artists? They are able to work on multiple things, not everyone in their studio can work on things like adding chocobos or remaking the zones. If they weren't given tasks like these they'd be sat there getting paid for nothing.

Initially i thought you're against something which is obviously good, but from your last post which you clarified, your right in terms of priority, i'd also like SE focusing on more core features to make the game playable and enjoyable first.
Should be full focus on core features.

Although, as matty indicated, it could be that these guys aren't useful elsewhere where more important features need to be worked on, but i'm still inclined to believe there must be more important stuff to work on.

I supose i can understand.

But i have to add i dont rely on the mouse for visability. I try to let my keyboard do most of the work. But targeting specifically fast does help a great deal useing the mouse.

I think the complaint stems from the feeling that there is more wrong with the action bar than it's visibility... and the devs making an announcement that they are improving the visibility for elements in the action bar is like having the nuclear reactor you work at announce they've duct-taped the cracks in the reactor core...

It's mostly lip service... And when the game has so many problems already we want to hear that something substantial is being done, not that icons now have a new pretty border... Especially when they take the time to make a nice pretty banner for it on the lodestone page.

What's wrong with it? It seems to work fine to me, also they're bringing the option to show all three rows at once. Anyway, we know that they're working on stuff, obviously the good s*** is coming in 1.19.

So they shouldn't even comment on it anywhere? Honestly, they can work on more than a couple of things at once. This obsession with what SE is doing and when is getting ridiculous, we don't know what they're working on so why not just sit back and be patient? The big focus for 1.18 was the battle system, and they're putting a lot of effort into delivering quality in the new things they add to the game.

The banner took no time, it's a screen shot behind a frame, it took literally a minute or two for someone on the community team. All this is is a tiny change to the update section, and a notice about it.

I don't like either, but like most things they've been implementing lately hopefully it's togglable.

I'm glad that they are putting the "Testing in Progress" section of the forums to use now.

As others have said, I too have problems seeing which ability is highlighted when it's sunny out in Thanalan. I can't believe people are actually whining about this improvement.

I wish they'd change the design of it. It's ugly, i hate that big blue bit by the battle regime icon.
