The Point of Personal Housing

I heard that in order to buy a Personal house that player needs to be a member of an FC is that true? It doesnt seem very practical. What happens to your personal house if you leave your FC or it gets disbanded?

Ahh i see good to know. Now lets hope P.Housing has multiple sizes hoping for a Personal Mansion.

Potentially a way to garden that isn't dependent on an FC.

I respectfully disagree with this Chiramu. While many of us will and already have joined FC's, that does not mean it's a universal thing that "everyone" will do. In fact, there are large sections of the player base with no interest or desire to join a free company, and some players have no interest in joining a linkshell either. So that may be true for the majority, it's not true for everyone.
The other thing to keep in mind is that the free company house and even your personal room isn't a truly "private" space that is "yours" in game. It belongs to someone else, you still have to go through your free company house. Giving personal housing allows for a spot that is well and truly "yours".

I want to completely arrange everything how I want it to be without FC compromises. And although I like my FC and feel comfortable beeing in it, I do not take it for granted and that it will be there forever. I have enough MMO experience to know how quickly things can change if the leaders lose interest in the Game and there are no volunteers to take over. My personal house however depends on me and nobody else. And I so want to deeply look into Gardening, so many items I would like to produce that are almost impossible to do in a FC garden.
