Bad ping/latency/lag problems

I just like to comment. To avoid the Breakout manuever from moles if you take 3 steps forward approximately right where the mole would have been or just behind it, When he comes out he'll miss.

9 times out of 10, I get KO'd by low-level monsters I have no trouble beating because of lag. Everything stops for like 20 seconds, and then suddenly I've died because of some Marmot at the city gates despite being class rank 19...

I must say I really enjoyed reading your answer gifthorse, I totally agree with you.

I appreciate your feedback. Feeling a bit less lonely now heh. Now just to make things clear, we are not talking about delay in actions from lack of stamina here (just making sure everyone's got the mechanics right).
Anyway, most posts here fall into contructive criticism, and this is really nice to read. I said most, but I won't be quoting/debating over those that i deem irrelevant. Not my job, and it wouldn't be a good idea to start a "civil war" when we're obviously all on the same boat heh? ;) Not that i'm going at war against SE or anything! Oh man, here I go digressing again.
Anyway, we just need to be heard, keep the feedback coming guys/gals!

you have issue then open your ports i know a few UK and they don't have problems like you saying.

Thanks for contributing Zenaku, but i'm afraid "opening your ports" is not the solution to this problem.

Everyone getting d/c and lag problem come with there ISP not working right with FFXIV opening the ports help if it does not then wait for the problem to be fix there not much you can do i hope SE read this topic so they can help and fix this.

I live in FL USA and i have no lag problems.

That's only the case if you are soloing. In parties, that rule doesn't apply because he will go after different people in the group with different relative positions. When soloing he pops up where you would have been, or thereabouts.

I know how to avoid it. The point of this thread is to gather feedback from people who can't due to latency. And i'm not only talking about the moles here.

It can be bad in the UK have you ever tried getting into a Behest at Horizon during JP primetime, it's not even worth trying as the Behest is usually full before the warden spawns on my screen.
