So are you against teamspeak/vent/etc as well since ps3's can't run those? o.O

I'm just so tired of this whole issue... good/bad, allowed/prohibited, should/shouldn't... Like, seriously - do the devs supply the means and give permission to make mods of any kind? If yes: great, go ahead. If not: just don't do it. I don't know why it has to be such a freakin' powder keg.
And, y'know, personally I really wouldn't care less if someone uses parsers specifically - when with their own little static group. Outside, they shouldn't even be running, let alone be utilised to mistreat people with. Same thing as going into the totally random DF and expecting everyone in there to know everything of any given fight. It doesn't make sense.
Not everyone plays the same way. Get over it.
=_=
I'm going to pretend you're not trolling...
Voice chat is not built into the game, does not affect the game, therefore it doesn't matter in SE's policies. If someone does not in fact have the ability to run voice chat, for whatever reason, but is constantly pressured (in whatever manner) to use voice chat, this can be seen as harassment and is reportable as such.
I'm making an absurd argument I agree, but it's similar to the one that's being used against parsers. Voice chat is still an advantage some have over others. I would argue that it's actually a much bigger advantage than anything parsers give. (And is generally much more required for raiding) A parser is a data collection tool, nothing else, it doesn't give someone an unfair advantage over someone else, and it's silly to pretend that it does. If we started seeing deadly boss mods equivalent addons being created I would agree that it would put ps3 players at a severe disadvantage for raiding (though I still wouldn't support banning the mods).
