That would actually be a pretty amazing idea. I'd definitely do a lot more exploring if this was the case. I usually avoid exploring because you get absolutely no reward for it. I only go to places I have to go

I'd love to know the history of every place I visited, I would love for this to be implemented in some way/shape/form even if it's only for hamlets and more "Imporant" areas. Maybe not every single aetherial node in existance.

Agreed. I feel that if they only did it for zones, then it would help with lore greatly.
But i'd like to see small towns get this treatment too. Im a sucker for small towns.

It would definitely be awesome if you walked into a trashed area, then had an echo flashback to see what actually happened. Better than just being told about it via quest text.
