Tanks keep leaving the dungeon

Of course they can but they still need to hit that roulette if they want their bonus. It's a pretty hilarious roll of the dice to ditch Lost City when you could very well get it again when your penalty expires. Going to ditch again? Now you've burned a full hour that you can't run a dungeon and pissed off six people instead of just three. Not to mention you still haven't completed your roulette.

Omg I also get Toto Rak more often than not something along the lines of 90% I am pretty sure this crap isn't random.

This means that penality MUST be harsher. Maybe 60 min jail where you can't do anything if you quit right off the bat?

Insta-deletion of the char + account ban for 6 months + 2 weeks in jail IRL + 100K dollars to the 3 players. Is it enough for you ? Seriously, most of the times, someone quits because 2 players are total jerks and refuse to abandon or kick you and are trolling you for an hour.

Sometimes when a dungeon as Haukke Manor HM looks more difficult than the habitual, I am going to look for DPSs gear and sometimes see things as black mage using gear STR, or dragoon using gear int. Well, I never quit, only try to use all my skill to mitigate the damage in that person. But tank can stay with rage and drop. I do not blame by rage quit.

you can't know if 2 players are total jerks in first 20 seconds. Plus usually the one that want to be kicked is the jerk there. And if you want to be kicked cuz you don't like CB hard that i need for book that i queued and waited 30-40 mins to get in sorry but i won't ever kick you and start that wait over again cuz you want the prize to help ppl with unwanted dungeon not helping ppl with unwanted dungeon. And quit for the reason "i don't like this one" should be punished way more then now

Well waste the DR prize if you quit in first 10 mins on top of 30 min lock out whould be perfect

Is there a different penalty for leaving after 20 seconds instead of 10 minutes ? No. When you say "the penalty needs to be harsher", you're talking about the current one.

And having a different penalty for tanks is like giving a different punishment for tanks is just stupid.

I'm not talking about current one globally, i'm talking about a penality for insta-quit that is what we are debating about. Now there is no difference, and i'd like to see a harsher penality IF you quit right off the bat (or few minutes after the start)
I whould give the penality for early quit for everyone regardless of role, but i always see tanks quit that way so...

The main problem with increasing the punishment is that it won't do what you want. If you make it much harsher than the current one, people will either just stop queuing altogether, or afk til you kick them so they don't have to eat the penalty.

And then he'll ask for harsher punishments, and people will just find a way to go around them, and he will ask for even harsher punishments, etc.
