I can see where it allows players to get through easily after they start relying on the Echo buff. On the other hand, the Echo buff is also what allows a lot of players to play through the entire instance and learn the mechanics better, so that they (hopefully) don't need the Echo buff the next time.
I don't see it as an insult to me personally, as fights aren't won by only one person. I'm glad it exists because it makes fights less reliant on everyone performing flawlessly. Let's face it, if there were a couple bad players in Coil or a Primal fight, you'd just quit because it'd be hopeless. +25% echo is like having a whole other dps and then some. With it, a fight is still completable even if there's that one person who spends most of it face down.
I'm glad The Echo allows me as a WHM to survive granite sepulchre if the DPS aren't fast enough when breaking the rocks cuz they're being dumb or just don't know the fight.
Oh wait.
I get what your saying, but some people take longer than others to learn a fight, and if I'm stuck in queue with a group who learns slowly it grows frustrating. That said I continue to help until someone leaves regardless. Also, I just noticed who created this thread. They don't have a lot of credibility to begin with, yet they keep making threads.

Multiplier game? I guess it makes sense since we use %'s so much, so yea I can multiply by like, 1.3 to figure out expected potencies on some things but what does that have to do with anything?Quote:
When making a suggestion for this multiplier game (or any other multiplier game,) make sure you realize that other players are in this game to. In other words, just like in real life: It's NOT all about you! Don't "demand" something in the game just because YOU want it. Think of things that others would find fun to. After all, why else would someone play a video game if not to have fun?
OR WAIT. maybe he means multiple people, using a pair of pliers? Either way, what does this have to do with a Massively multiplayer online role-playing game?
;) Glad you could take it in good humor <3
