MMMRPG Anime / Final Fantasy's future

Sword Art Online has it's own video game so it isn't a Final Fantasy Anime. BTW there is a Final Fantasy anime but it isn't based on the online games.

Several, iirc. There was one which was a sequel to FFV, and there was FF:Unlimited. There may be more.

Yeah, I'm sorry I made the OP sound like that! I'll fix it! I have those Final Fantasy anime,lol! Deffinately not based on MMORPGing. I like all anime with a good story revolving a simple plot. I haven't completed watching ".HACK" or even this series. I have to schedule my anime viewing between other IRL task.
There sure are a lot of hack.fans,lol!

What other Manga/Anime is out there I don't know about? What do you like about them.

Me and other guy were talking about this in zone chat. What if SAO was Final Fantasy? The one guy was like that would be awesome, then I said ya until people tried to do titan then the entire population would die lol

Whisked away into their game long before the internet made it's public appearance.

Back then duty finder took as long as waiting for your buddies to get out of school.

LOL at D&D cartoon. Oh man, that's an oldie all right.

Personally I enjoyed both seasons of SAO and look forward to the upcoming 3rd season that'll be coming out very soon.

But I totally enjoyed the whole .Hack experience, from the video games to the anime/oav and then onto .hack//GU, //Roots, and the CGI follow-up movie for GU as well. GU was such an awesome game, all of it. If that kind of .hack had come out in MMO form at the time I'd have been all over it. There was talk of .Hack mmorpg at some point, but I don't think anything ever came of it, sadly. I kinda miss the .Hack series.

Awesome thing is now that the Oculus Rift is approaching consumer debut relatively soon. We may find ourselves with real immersion MMOs like those in .hack and SAO, in the future. And that's a future I totally want as an MMO gamer.

Sword art is overated. Go watch log horizon :D
