Relic Questline about 30% too much IMHO

It's not that I'm not willing. I'll get it done eventually. It's just that the heavy requirements are killing my motivation to actually farm for it, even though I'm 1/3 of the way done with the books. . .

Word. I'm not one to burn out easily, I play like 6 hours per day minimum, every day.

But I've nearly 2 sets of Atma's & am close to completion on 1 Animus & I'm around the corner from severe burnout... I know I don't have to do it blah blah but I want to really badly. It's just, I think it's roughly 25-30% Too Much work.

12 Atmas
1200 Myths per book
12 Books(lolol)
400 for Inks(3 Inks still)
72 Alexandrites(12x6)

Make everything 12-related for the ZODIAC Weapons

Fair point, so a minor increase in droprate or for them to be able to drop when using an Animus/Novus could suffice.

I don't want a stat reduction on Novus, perhaps have it so it equals out somehow (e.g. have the Grade IV's grant +2, etc.).

Bad thing about Novus are the ton of Grade IV Materias that you need.
You need about 11 ish grade IV's per stat.

On my Server piety 4 is at 380k. So thats about 4,2 mil Just for piety. Same for Det / Savage Might.

You don't actually need any grade IV materias, you can put more than 2 types of stat on the novus, it just needs to total 75. I will have a relatively equal split on my Bravura between Parry, Acc and Det. This means I can be cheap and never use anything over a Tier 3 materia.

Or you could form a spiritbound group and go nuts with AoE, if you get what you need sweet but if not then sell all unwanted materias for profit and buy ones you need. Oh and its also best way to rank up your chocobo so its win-win.

While your statement is true, I would still like my novus to be a good weapon with my statweights in mind.
I could just go every stat on my weapon but that would defeat the point of owning a novus.
And those greedy loothoarders that buy every piety materia under 200k and put it up in huge stacks of 1 mil per materia can kiss my little butt.

I am spiritbonding with ppl. But grade 4s still take a long time. It takes more time to farm mats for the equip than spiritbonding.

Even if you spirit bind, it costs about the same. It costs X number of materia, and each materia is worth Y gil. That you get your materia from a different source does not change the actual worth of that materia.
