You know people will sell anything to get more gill , even titan HM which is an old content I see some groups sell it in pf .

Crafters and gathers can make more gil by gather/craft , so what experience players do ? They sell runs , not saying all but most who have 7 good players to get the job done .

You think everyone will keep buying coil every week to get his/her loots ? So what if this person gona waste all his gil on that ! Then be it , I think whoever will buy it will be one time like t5 these days .

Most of us cant play with their friends cuz of coil so they forced to leave fc , servers to find a static or a good pug parties and thats sad whwn its seem the game is all about coil .
Why not try it and see , I think SE can make it work .

An alternative could be something like the expert dungeons or the 1.0 dungeons, where the chance is high to get also something else than gear from the chests.
Example:
5% chance for allagan gear
45% chance for some green gear
50% chance for dark matter 5

I agree with you, the system lockout have to be the worst system in MMORPG. I can't even bring in friends to do Coil because of lockout, can't help friends. Even having Static is not a garantee, no one ever want to be left behind so you can't bring another friend along or replace people who are bad because no one want to be left behind.

They said the reason they want to add the Coil Lockout is that they don't want too many drop to come in the game at once because people farm it. This is a poor excused. It punish people play with friends, FC become useless, they have 8 Static and will only do it with their Static, etc. They shouldn't use the lockout system. Just make the drop rared, no Garantee drop. This ways people can play the game with friends and FC without punish them.

I wish they would make the drop rare too. I think they said in an interview before that they couldn't do that because it would lock out 'casual' players because they wouldn't have the time to run coil over and over until their item drops. Honesty much rather have it rare then this lock out garbage though.
