Then you don't know what Final Fantasy games are.

FF1's entire Wind Crystal dungeon series (Tower -> Floating Castle) was essentially intended to be futuristic, given it had a walking mech and was a flying castle from an ancient civilization and all.
FF4's Tower of Babel (Bab-il, etc.) literally had you fighting a giant computer orb in the heights of a gigantic hyper-futuristic tower - the same orb you fight in Turn 1 and 2 (Coil actually has a significant resemblance to the Tower of Babel now that I think about it)
FF5 has the inhabitants of Lonka who had cannons, rocket launchers, and a floating fortress, and the series' first genuine super optional boss - Omega, who was a robot.
FF6, 7, and 8 are like a progression steadily from early industrial -> modern times -> futuristic utopia
FF9 might not have looked the part but the Terrans basically had a nuke and cloning.
X's Spira was basically modern civilization 1000 years ago and is only the way it was because of the stigmatization and religious prohibitions on technology and science.
XII, despite the lack of technology in most parts, also has segments that would have felt completely at home in Star Wars and may have been heavily influenced by it.
The entire juxtaposition of XIII's Gran Pulse and Cocoon was "natural and wild vs technology and controlled"
