Loosing Sound in-game

Interesting, maybe I should get a better HDMI cable.

I also get this from time to time, but it eventually sorts it self out. (PS4 user)

it's not an issue with the cable. it is something to do with how the TV handshakes with the PlayStation. it's not a hardware problem with the game system. it's just the display being used. something to do with a HDCP protection protocol. a new wire won't help. though many people on the net do report using an HDMI switch helps.

EDIT: also i have discovered on my display simply changing between inputs resolves the problem as well.

thanks, it seems to have stopped (for now) but if it happens again, ill try turning off/on again^^
