10 months after launch...fair enough :P

Though I think they should've excluded the UI lag from the aesthetics section, raised its score, and given a lower score to longevity :)

Its amusing considering how many times he mentioned a patch coming soon that would update most the issues he complained about, but then said nothing as to whats being changed. And it doesn't sound like he played further than lvl 5 or 10 at most. And we all know level 10 can be earned in under 30min...le sigh

Anyway, I don't really care what MMORPG's opinion is, nor the other members there. Its a horrible community that just yells and screams and fights with each other and whom don't understand what an opinion is. Hardly anyone there ever plays a new MMO for themselves to decide but they listen heartily to these ridiculous reviewers...

Very true, I remember them deleting posts and banning people that brought up that Funcom was trying to hide the fact people where able to trade BoP raid items in AoC, as well as people exploiting the siege system to keep from getting attacked.

Ironically enough people muttered this about Abyssea in a way:

"Abyssea won't do anything for FFXI."

*Abyssea Releases*

"Abyssea completely changed the face of FFXI forever, and ushered in a ton of new gear in the process."

And Abyssea did nothing to the immediate core game like the next patches for XIV are doing.

I cant wait for the "Golden patch" I expect a mediocre cut/paste dungeon, a few peices of equally lame gear. And some cheesy tank and spank boss fights. 3-4weeks of content at best.

10 months is plenty of time to get some stuff in play. Bottom line, this dev team is serously under staffed and it shows. Ive gotten more patches/content/hotfixes in 2 months of rift than my whole time on ffxiv combined.

SE should make 1 PR team to contact with all the gaming site so they will not do stupid thing again.
Also, maybe they can try to sponsor the website so they can re-review the game when it ready :P

Yeah its to bad that Rift isn't any different then all the other MMOs out there, you can have all the content in the world, but that doesn't make it fun for everyone.

yeah and condone what is wrong with that site. MMORPG.com = pay us for a good review, not saying FFXIV deserves a good review just saying that site is corrupt. Though im pretty sure you where being sarcastic.

Btw, I notice that there's 2 types of people in this forum
1) Low class rank
2) High class rank

And those 2 type are talking differently.

the first one, "MOST" of them, always think this game is shit and not worth to play. But judge from their stat they just play this game for few hours... then they quit. But I don't understand that why they still troll on this forum even they don't like this game =='.

The second one, Most of them, Love this game and say this game is great ( and yes some of them want this game as it was before, and they don't like Yoshi-P that change this game this much. )

Well, for me, I like this game, I tried Rift too but after try playing it for 1 months.... I quit, just like I was playing WoW for 1 month then quit.. Rift is good but something make me stop playing it.. I don't know why. Maybe because of low-quality model and can't compare to my cute miqo'te? lol

I can't wait to see what 1.18 will change the aspect of this game. I think FFXIV team work as hard as they can to maintain the quality and pride of their flagship series..and I'm on their side.
