Snake phase is a fixed duration, unless you're unable to kill big snake before Twintania appears for Aetheric Profusion for whatever reason. 5% more damage won't change that problem though, unless you're struggling to clear second phase within 3 conflags also, in which case there's a real DPS issue.

As for lack of awareness, make the folks who can't notice Twister coming to make their focus-target as large as it can get, and place it near the center of their screen. If they can't tell on their own when a boss is using a certain attack, you're going to have even more head-aches with T6 swallow-targets, and T7 voices.

That's PF in general. If a fight involves more than two mechanics, and it's a complete PF group rather than partial static of folks who know what they're doing, then good luck!

Yoshi-P stated that some things would be delayed due their "golden week".

I farm T5 in a daily basis and, on my experience, some people join PF to be carried. The thing is, you can tell who's experienced or not in that fight. And tell your party members to focus-target Twintania, as others suggested, but as an aditional advice: none of the DPS has to pay attention to the Dreadknight but the one in charge of the "slow". That being said, they can tunnel vision Twintania focus and blindly DPS the Dreadknight, so they know when the Twister is coming. There're no mechanics that requiere movement there but the Twisters. The Dreadknight has a fixed target, despite who has the aggro.

makes it more consistent. some groups have a little trouble figuring out how to burn the snakes down without screwing over their tanks/melee dps.

Except 2.25 was released on 4/24 and two weeks from then would have been 5/8. Someone said it would be delayed for golden week but there was nothing on the lodestone or forums to indicate this. Also, every other time they've increased the buff they have done some maintenance, to which, they announce a couple days prior to the actual maintenance. So far the lack of ANY information has been frustrating.

It's good to know that SE can make a promise, not follow through and ignore it completely. Maybe they hoped we would forget?

Something so minor I would say who cares but actually a lot cares about 5% and don't expect things to be delayed. People can't even beat Titan Extreme with 25% boost can't beat T5 with 15% doubtful you will with 20% just saying.

Maybe they'll just jack it straight up to 30% since the 20% step is so late at this point. Been farming Turn 4 lately in DF and it's hit-or-miss whether a pickup group will beat it. A 30% boost would get some near misses over the hump.
