Wood Wailer's Jacket (Can I Have It?)

Memo to self: Take TNR to R20 as a priority before physical-level removals (which is when I plan to start leveling lancer).

Does the Wood Wailer's Jacket show up in your inventory?

I just repaired it but have not spoken to the NPC to complete the quest. However, the jacket doesn't appear in my inventory list and so I cannot give it to my retainer.

Hopefully they didn't make it impossible to keep with the v1.18 patch. :(

You will have to show it to the NPC first, who will ask you to equip it (on your own) to try it out.

That is when the jacket appears in your inventory.

Excellent - new task added to my list....go home and get Leatherworker to 20 and get Wood Wailer's Jacket

And now that I think about it, you can't really trick the game to make it pop into your loot list, eh?

Cause when the NPC tells you to wear it, it immediately goes into your inventory, right?

I'm not sure what would happen if you had a full inventory at that point. Anyone try that yet?
