Healing during Odin

I've gotten gold on Behe(In a heal, tank, heal, tank, 2 dps party) and Odin as heals. But yeah I had to run around trying to target my party members. After a while I just went to my custom targeting filter that targets any PCs and started targeting anyone I could and that needed healing/rezing.

So I joined a party in the odin fate yesterday. I tried going to where their dots were on the map and targetting with up / down on the d-pad. I could only get one player to target this way. All I can think is line of sight issue, but not convinced since I ran everywhere I could think. Anyone else had similar issue?

Since we have slider for how many characters we can see, why not add unlimited option instead of just maximum which is 200 i think. Some of us are playing on PCs that can handle it.

Maybe the game was lagging and they actually moved from those places on the map? I don't think there are typically los issues there. AOE heal and raise corpses, and heal others. Nearly guaranteed gold.

I've not tried it yet but can you stick up a way mark on one side of the FATE to let the party know where you're goin to be stood? That way they can stick in range or come running over with their tail between their legs.

I've never tried laying way marks out of dungeons but is assume it works?

I did another odin fate yesterday... we failed v_v and again it was impossible to find my party members on PS3. The blue map dots were not up to date, and I would run all over pressing dpad up/down, but it rarely found someone. I used AOE heals but they only hit party members and again it was not much use if only hitting one or two that didn't need healing.

I'll try this suggestion of using a waymark and asking my team to return for heals. For finding ko'ed players from my party, i'll try asking them to mark themselves to see if they get render priority.

Honestly I think this rare boss fate idea needs a re-deisgn - from the launch to now these fates are always overcrowded to the point they can't be experienced properly. Particularly for PS3 players. Could channels within a zone help alleviate overcrowding? In other games you can request to join your party leaders channel if there's space available.

I healed it on PS3 and scored gold. Half the time I didn't see my party but I ran everywhere and aoe healed, and I could get them healed up. If they die its easy to find them. Also never stick to just healing your party or rezzing them, thats how those fates fail.

I did raise and heal loads of non-party members, but was frustrated that I couldn't find my own party members that needed healing / raising. How do you mean easy? You just run around randomly pressing up/down on the d-pad? Didn't work for me at all. Hopefully the marking and waymarks will work out next time.

Easy as in they are dead so the blue dot will be sitting there unmoving :p It gets frustrating and I hope whatever measures you take will help you out next time <3 Good luck!
