Tank outdpsing All 4 DPS possible while doing job?

I can't say if you are doing your job wrong or not, but if there is even a chance you think you are doing something wrong, maybe you should read the rotation thread and/or work on rotation, because thats something I almost never have to wonder as a DD.

I always experiment on dummies and read up on threads and I manage to keep my rotation up despite all the dodging and stuff, and I refresh buffs and replace dots when necessary, etc, pop cooldowns to get the most out of them, and so on. So I just started thinking what if everything was a lie lol.

Sounds like you're reporting him for being what you perceive to be an elitist attitude rather than for the intended purpose of actual griefing via parser-use.

I'd advise not to abuse the report function. GMs have more important issues to deal with.

If you think you're above "elitists", why sink to such behavior as to try to get him banned for being a "meanie"? Nothing you've posted here seems to constitute bannable harassment on his part, and you acknowledge it didn't reach that level which is why you used the old "ban him for parsing" fallback. Seeing as I highly doubt you'd report someone for parsing who wasn't being "mean" to you, you're attempting to use a widespread technically-against-the-rules-yet-tacitly-endorsed activity to make yourself the judge of what should be bannable harassment.

Yeah, I agree with this. It's honestly one of those things you should forget about and move on. I'm not saying it was right because it wasn't, in fact I despise people similar to what the OP had to deal with. The best thing to do is to not give them the attention. If they know they got to you they got what they wanted. It's best to deny them that.

I would never have done this, and never did before, but he put the party down. After realizing he came from an FC of what I know to be elitist/trolls (one member goes into CT to exploit a bug and stop groups from progressing), I decided to go through with it. I neglected to mention that he rudely stated that if we didn't one shot it he would leave. I know, I had a moral dilemma going through with it. Don't think I did it just because I wanted to feel like I am a better person or anything like that. I just thought maybe I could make a difference and make a stronger community. IF I made a mistake doing this, I apologize to you and others, but I just didn't want to tolerate this behaviour any longer, especially from his FC.

I probably would have debated it for awhile myself but everyone has their own methods. If this person truly gets banned then I'd have to tip my hat to ya because we need less people like them. Just be prepared if SE doesn't find anything. I've heard they take reports seriously, especially false ones.
