Coil T1 with Duty Finder

if using DF is too random to beat T1 because you might get a party without silence then don't solo DF for T1. the solution is not to make HV stunnable. and raising the required ilvl doesn't help with possibly getting a party that doesn't have silence. t1 isn't suppose to be easy. its suppose to take teamwork. if you get a random team that doesn't work well together... well that's just the danger of using the DF solo. there's not a whole lot you can do about it.

Since the High Voltage nerf, I've been able to heal through it fairly easily. It's so short now that I don't even need to Esuna myself. I suppose the OP is talking about very low geared parties? But if ADS is stopping you like that, what's your plan for an 8 stack snake?

I'm more concerned with the type of parties I'm finding myself in these days. Everyone is i90 or better. We get into T4 and everything falls apart before P3. Or Garuda EX and everything falls apart before the first sisters spawn. Been a nightmare.

Even with brand new tanks, I've been at least able to get to P3 in T4 before things go south.
Is DPS just slow, tanks don't know where stuff spawns, or what do you think the problem is?
I can't think of stuff going wrong before P3 other than that.

I do think your best interest is to at least PF the silences (at least 1) before queuing to DF the rest, though.

this got nerfed so hard, especially with echo now... and this^ isn't even an excuse for a healer. You can simply focus target the ADS, and if your HUD had the focus target near your hp bars or target hp bar then you will see the focus target casting. I used the DF a lot and got into random PUGs, rarely without silencers, but the key is to play the safe card no matter what. cast that med 2 before or at the start of the cast (or just swift cast it), use a regen if there is time (should if swift casted), and then cast med right after and hope it goes off at the same time. If anything goes wrong, you can just esuna yourself and go about your merry way. T1 is really easy now showing that the DF carries people through it..

This is very true. I completely forgot about focus target. Well, that would simplify things. Doesn't make the paralysis any worse for me, because of bad luck, but at least I can pre-cast Medica to make people not die instantly afterward. Medica II is up 100% of the time as long as tank has aggro, because I'm usually in those groups where just about everybody takes damage from every other AoE. Oh, and don't expect every healer to have Swiftcast. I do, but that's beyond the point.

I will try to do that from now on. Not that I'll have to do T1 all that much, but getting the 90 ilvl stuff from there would be nice.

Hell it's already expired by the time a healer gets 2 esuna cast.

This is why they "nerfed" a few a things, to make it easier for non-optimal DF parties to clear.

Just did Lost City of Amdapor, got paralysis on me. I was paralysed three times on one paralysis before it eventually ran out. I didn't get to cast my Esuna. Just saying.

I have run into DF T4 with only physical or only magic dps

Although I do agree SE needs to do something about Duty Finder groups in general (double BRD in 4 mans makes me facepalm), this is the risk you take when you just throw yourself into an 8 man raid using a completely random dungeon finder.

Hmm? The duration of Paralysis varies from encounter to encounter.. ADS' paralysis only last 6 seconds now.
