Where is the emergency maintenance?

Also Yoshida here,

Instead of fixing the server lag, our employees have been working round the clock to farm atmas from fates. It may be a few weeks, even months still, until they are all finished. At that point, we will update the server structure to alleviate this non-existant lag. Please look forward to it!

You know what's funny about this? It's a bannable offense to impersonate official SE communications, but today it's unavoidable to do so. XD

And about the server things: SE can't fix it if they don't know what the problem is. They know there's a problem (posted in the news section on the Lodestone) and they're trying to figure it out. Once they figure it out there'll be a maintenance to fix it. Keep calm and carry on.

Part of the reason monthly subscriptions are still a thing is under the guise of ensuring a high(er) quality of server connectivity and content stream. They seem to be holding up their end of the bargain with the content stream but these latest lagfests have been an absolute nightmare.

No, it's most definitely not. The lag in 4 man instances is almost unbearable but completely non-existent in 8 man content, and it's hit every single person I've partied with since the patch.

Hopefully its fixed before I start my subscription back up

They were Too busy For this forum event maybe. Of Course more funny and important then fixing the game...

They're probably delaying the Emergency Maintenance for a time when they actually have a fix.

Plenty of people in my parties complain about lag, but I myself have not had an issue with it since the update.
