Where is the emergency maintenance?

I figured there was no way in hell we wouldn't have maintenance last night, but here we are today and the servers have only gotten worse. Seriously, at least pretend to make an effort to fix the instanced servers.

Part of the reason monthly subscriptions are still a thing is under the guise of ensuring a high(er) quality of server connectivity and content stream. They seem to be holding up their end of the bargain with the content stream but these latest lagfests have been an absolute nightmare.

Theres always the one dude who likes to point out how since he has not has any issues, the problem doesn't exist. C'mon man. They released a statement specifically referring to instanced lag post 2.2. It exists and it sucks.

My guess is its tied to whatever they did to instanced servers to alleviate the amount of time that full parties had to wait for a free instance. I'd rather wait an additional 5 min for a free instance than have to deal with this perpetual lag. Lost so many swiftcasts, firestarter procs and raging/quelling strikes to the lag this weekend.

Just because they acknowledge it doesn't mean it's noticeable on every instance server.Thus it would be entirely possible for someone to go all weekend and not notice it. I for instance didn't notice it either, but I did hear others in my FC mentioning it. We were never in the same instance together so I never got to experience it as they did. Does it mean I'm wrong? No, it doesn't, and nor does it make them wrong. There are dozens of instance servers and each can behave slightly different based on the true nature of the actual problem.

No, it's most definitely not. The lag in 4 man instances is almost unbearable but completely non-existent in 8 man content, and it's hit every single person I've partied with since the patch.
