Animus Weapons Underpoweresd

Relic will always be just under the stats/ilvl of the hardest end game material until level cap, then it will probably even out or have other advantages, there's no rush for me, I like my relic

Yeah, the reward is just not worth it. Just another ilvl 100 weapon when we have in the patch ilvl 110 and 115 weapons. Yeah, it's not "done". But the next step will come in the future. Right now is insane boring grinding for an ilvl 100 weapon. And what is more, most relics have bad stats. So in some cases even ilvl 95 weapons might be better.........

What are customizable stats?

Special unique stats like from XI and 1.0 era which separate the weapon from everything and give it unique qualities.

Or crap like +5 skill speed, str, vit, dex, or elemental resist?

If it is the path SE has been on, the stats are so streamlined and linear giving the option of what stats to put in would be no different then getting an item with those stats already.

I hope I am wrong and they are going to add truly unique stats which can be got no where else.. but i just have my doubt atm. Yoshida seems to be against that for "Balance" reasons.


It is way to soon to assume SE's comments about customization on relics actually means anything. SE's track record on this game is linear only. Even now SE is saying we have options but it is still linear to the end when you look at.

The best weapon in the game is the one that comes from doing the hardest content, world first for t9 is a long way off but I think we got world first for mindless grinding long ago.

Nope, or high allagan weapons dont have a point. You ll have ilvl 110 / 120 at 2.3

Just like in FFXI you would upgrade the wep more and more. Right now the best weps are always Allgan but it's going to get to the point that the relic wep would be the best one. It would have more and more upgrade so it's better to do all the upgrade as they come for the job you know you going to play the longest even if new jobs come out.
