[Scenery video] Final Fantasy XIV: "Voyage"

I appreciate the effort and it's nicely edited but it's a bit of waste of energy because it's basically generic hills for 5 minutes =(

Anyway I liked the music it's nice and cozy.

There are alot of good looking places that video did show, those who think that is it.. well need to try leveling outside of leves and outside of Uldah. Half the people I do not think even been to Corethas let alone other areas like Brittlebark, Crimsonbark, Riversmeet, and the nodes north of Treespeak. Not putting your taste in question, you are entitled to your opinion. But can you honestly say that the world in FFXIV is fine as it is and that each zones are bursting with details and variety that makes you go "WOW" even after you spent 5 min in that zone? The zones are empty, there are next to no landmarks, the plants/trees/rocks are repeated every 2 steps (like the stupid plant in Thanalan surrounded with flowers that is EVERYWHERE in that zone with no alterations, etc)

The video he made is fine, just saying that Eorzea in a whole is not that great and we pretty much seen it all in that 5 min video, which is really sad. You can basically show the video to a friend and say "you have just explored all of eorzea, grats!" because there is nothing else to see that is worth mentioning.

Not only vegetations and stuff are repeated, but the whole layout of the landscape is repeated everyone within each zones. So yes, it's fine to be a fan, but there is such a thing as a blind fan that will accept anything just because it has SE's name on it, and fans that, while they like what SE did in the past, are not buying into just any crap handed to them.

You did what most players miss to do; when playing this game. First person view with camera facing towards the sky :) just need to watch out for active mobs lol.

Used to love doing that in FFXI, FFXIV like your video has good areas if you look carefully. It's just to get to those nice scenic places... + if they had any meaning at all to the story, quest, game... it would of made it better.

I got eaten at least 5 times running around Coertheas, i tried going more southwest to see if there's anything worth recording but those damn hogs/dragons wouldn't let me, and there were areas where i could not get to in the northwest.

I liked it, it was nice bid unfortunately then I remembered we have this great looking game with nothing to do in it and no reason to explore.

Good work on the bid though :)

I see tons of unique areas in the zones people just don't look beyond the basic hills and traversable areas for them. There are tons of unique landmarks and nice vantage points to take in the serene areas. Sure they could use some more variaty but people hate on it way too hard.

Why do lots of scenes move off screen? looks really odd. eg 41s to 58s the videos are all over the place. Happens again at 1.36.

There is not tons, there are like 10 unique places.
