New WHM BiS all from Coil!!WHY SE??

New Coil drops don't appear to be RNG, you get a generic drop and turn it into an NPC.

I'll never get High Allagan chest hahahaha! You win SE...I'll be full worst-in-slot again. :)

They matter to those who want to build their character a certain way, ya know for variety sake. I don't mind the Daystar set personally, I've always wanted to build a crit setup for my WHM and 2.0-2.1 never offered me that chance due to the lack of diversity. We're finally getting over that so I'm pleased.

I'm frustrated by this because it feels like the same thing that happened with Myth accessories. I held out so long on upgrading to myth on white mage because they weren't big upgrades to DL and I was healing fine in all content. I feel I'm going to get stuck again holding out on the token set (and holding my ilevel back) because I don't want to waste the tomes just to fight for the loot later.

It definitely favours WHMs, but I think we'll find out how often and where the upgrade items for Daystar gear drop before myself and the SCH decide what to do and who lots on what.

The Weathered version of Daystar all cost Soldiery tomes at the same price as Myth gear is(was?) so 895 body, etc. Then for the full version you need a "Sands of Time" whatever that is. The non Allagan weapon costs a whopping 1300 Soldiery tomes + an unidentified allagan tomestone(maybe you will have to do coil for this one too)

Hopefully these "Sands of Time" aren't too hard to get.

Everything that isn't crit is suboptimal because SCHs were given an actually *good* secondary. That's hardly comparable. I would love for my WHM t have a synergetic second stat like my SCH does. lol

Also, SS is garbage even for a WHM.

Long as my WHM meets or exceeds the required ilv...I don't care about BiS.

Who cares about BiS? Just get the full matching set. I never had issues healing Twintania wearing full scholar af2, so why would I assume I'd need to wear BiS to beat the current content?
